The Reports are also an automated feature. They are created using Pivot Tables. Pivot Tables are an easy way to create a report with only the information you want. Each report worksheet contains a separate report, because the data will grow as the number of your shops increase, I did not want to crowd these reports.. The other tracks the assignments. Let me review the reports so you have a better idea of what they actually do. |

Mystery Shop Company Pay Status Report - By Company |
This report tracks the fees you have earned, received and are still due, but by company. |
This report is very detailed, but simple, and summarizes all your monies by company, year, month and then week. This of course is based on the Shop Date. |
This report is listed first by Company, Year, Month, then by Week. You can easily know how busy you have been, and compare your current Month (or Week or even Year) to the previous ones. We as shoppers have found that some months are busier than others, and some months are slower. This way you will know how busy you have been. Is there a company that you do an excessive amount of work for? Have you reached that $600 mark with any company? This is where you will find it. |
This information can easily be updated, simply place your cursor anywhere INSIDE the Pivot table, where the data is located. Click on DATA > REFRESH DATA. |

This screen shot shows a full screen shot at how the data is reported, first by company, year, then month, then week, and the fee breakdowns. Look over to the right. Those red figured in the next to the last column show fees for shops done in that month (whatever is listed to the left) that have not been paid yet. And the final column gives you an idea of how quickly that company pays you! At the top is a button the says MS COMPANY, and to the right it says "(ALL)." However you do also have the ability to look at the payment status for any Mystery Shopping Company you have listed on your Assignments Worksheet. Just click on the small arrow to the right of (ALL) and then select the company you want to see the data for. |
This is a screen shot of the details that are displayed in this report, showing multiple companies, and then sorting after each company by year, month and week. |
This is a screen shot of the left portion of the Report-MS Worksheet . As I stated, it is basically a count of all assignments you have done, sorted by Company, Year, Month, and then Week. |
This is a screen shot of the right portion of the Report-MS Worksheet . As I stated, it is basically a count of all assignments you have done, sorted by Company, Year, Month, and then Week. In the final column on the right (Avg # of Days/Paid), you may occasionally see #DIV/0! This will happen if you still have money due that has not yet been paid, which will shown in the Amount Due column in red. Once these funds are paid, that error will display the average number of days it takes you to receive your payment. |

I personally love the reports, I like to be able to see various reports, and having the ability to easily change what I am viewing is helpful to me. But I am just one shopper. Many experienced shoppers will find that this is just a waste. Whatever is helpful to you is what you should use. Remember, what works for one person, may not work for another. I could not imagine using a notebook and a pen to track everything, there is just not enough ability to track things the way I wish to see them. Now that doesn't make this their or this system better, it only makes this system better for me, because it tracks what I want it too. Use a system (any system you choose) that is designed to meet your needs whatever they may be. |
